After Samsung it is time for BlackBerry to launch the March security update for its smartphone. Samsung recently gave its bunch of smartphone the March security update. BlackBerry too has started giving out the same update and this time it has started with its BlackBerry Priv smartphone. But before, let us have a quick look at the specs of the smartphone.
The BlackBerry Priv phone provides a 5.4-inch screen with AMOLED display. The screen has a pixel ratio of 1440 x 2560 with a protection of Gorilla Glass 4 and a pixel density of 540 ppi as well. The device is fueled by an octa-core Qualcomm MSM8992 Snapdragon 808 processor coupled with 3 GB RAM. The device also has a 71.9% of screen to body ratio. The handset also has 32 GB internal memory that can be expanded to 256 GB via Micro SD card.
In the camera section, the rear camera is of 18 MP of power with f/2.2 aperture, OIS, and phase detection autofocus. The BlackBerry Priv smartphone has 2 MP of front camera for proper selfies and with the ability to record videos at 720p. The smartphone is supported by 3,410mAh battery. The device currently runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and can be upgraded up to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. In terms of connectivity, the phone offers 4G, Bluetooth, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, 3G, FM, and GPS.
Launched in India, the phone is currently priced for Rs 22,000. It comes in only black variant.
