The Chinese smartphone manufacturer Gionee has made the entry at the MWC 2017 held in Barcelona. The company launched its Gionee A1 at the event. Gionee is well known for its smartphones that have the capability to take excellent selfies. Well, let us see if the new Gionee A1 resides in the same category or not.
The new Gionee A1 sports a 5.5-inch full HD AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display and a pixel ratio of 1080 x 1920. The phone runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. Speaking of the processor, the phone is powered by a Mediatek MT6755 Helio P10 processor along with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB internal memory. This memory can be further expanded to 256 GB via MicroSD card.
Moving towards the connectivity part, the new Gionee A1 features 4G, 3G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and FM as well. The phone is available in three different versions—gold, black, and gray.
Speaking of the imaging duties, the new Gionee A1 has 13 MP of rear camera along with f/2.0 aperture with LED flash and phase detection autofocus. The front camera is of 16 MP with aperture f/2.0 and is enough for good selfies. The phone comes with a 4,010mAh battery as well.
Well, as guessed, the new Gionee A1 is specially made for selfies and will attract the selfie lovers. The massive 16 MP of front camera is sure to attract the selfie addicts from every corner of the world. Let us see if our assumption will be true or not.
