Lenovo Gives New OS Update to Its Smartphone

The Chinese smartphone manufacturing company Lenovo has been laying low for quite a while. Well, the company has launched new Android 7.0 Nougat update for one of its smartphones. Can you guess which one? Well, the company gave its Lenovo Zuk Z1 the new Android 7.0 Nougat update. Let us have a look at the specs of the smartphone.

The new Lenovo Zuk Z1 sports a 5.5-inch full HD display and a pixel ratio of 1080 x 1920 as well as 69.3% of screen to body ratio. The phone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop and has a pixel density of 401 ppi. Speaking of the processor, the phone is powered by Qualcomm MSM8974AC Snapdragon 801 processor along with 3 GB of RAM and 64 GB internal memory as well a GPU of Adreno 330. This memory cannot be further expanded via MicroSD card.

Moving towards the connectivity part, the new Lenovo Zuk Z1 features 4G, 3G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, and FM as well. The phone is available in 2 different versions—dark gray and white. No information about the price factor has been leaked yet. Launched in September 2015, the phone is priced for Rs 10,999.

Speaking of the imaging duties, the new Lenovo Zuk Z1 has 13 MP of rear camera along with f/2.2 aperture with OIS, LED flash, and phase detection autofocus. The front camera is of 8 MP and is enough for good selfies with f/2.2 aperture and the ability to record videos at 1080p@30fps. The phone comes with a 4,100mAh battery that has the capability of giving 526 hours of standby time and 38 hours of talktime.

Well, the smartphone was initially running on Android 5.0 Lollipop. It then got the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. And this is the third time that the smartphone is getting the OS update.

It seems that the Lenovo Zuk Z1 is more popular among the users than expected.
