Virtual reality is the new trend in the smartphone industry. Many tech giants and smartphone manufacturers are busy integrating the VR feature in their smartphones. These companies include Lenovo, Samsung, Asus, Vivo, and many others. All these companies are busy making their smartphones compatible with the VR headset.
For those who are not aware of what a VR headset is, let us clear this doubt first. A VR headset is a device that is compatible with a smartphone and enables the users to use the VR services such as 3D games and 3D movies. For instance, Lenovo launched its VR headset that is compatible with Lenovo handsets such as Lenovo K3, Lenovo K3 Note, Lenovo Vibe X3, Lenovo K4, Lenovo K4 Note, Lenovo K5, Lenovo Zuk Edge, and many more. Similarly, Samsung invented Samsung Gear that is compatible to Samsung devices.
For using this VR headset, users need to place the smartphone in the VR and enjoy the 3D movies and games. Later, this VR was further modified. New VR sets were introduced that made the gaming experience simpler. VR with remote controls were introduced to give the users a life-time remembering experience while playing games.
But now, VR sets are modified in such a way that you will not need a smartphone to attach to it. HTC, the smartphone manufacturer, is working on such VR headsets that will eliminate the use of smartphones. Handsets will be connected wirelessly with the VR headsets and users can avail the features of the VR headsets with more ease and comfort.
But do not keep hopes to see these VR headsets in the upcoming MWC 2017.
