Why Are Litchfield Turnpike Eyesores Allowed to Stand?

warning: Parameter 2 to gmap_gmap() expected to be a reference, value given in /home/smartcam/drupal-6.14/includes/module.inc on line 471.

The homes have been in a blighted state for nearly three years in violation of the town ordinance # 4675.1 section “C” and probably sections A & B also.

Anyone passing by this property can see the buildings and land have descended to a point where, if they were in an inner city, we’d call it a slum.

Why does Woodbridge allow a slum on Litchfield Turnpike and Bradley Road to exist? The owners cutting the grass is not the answer.

It's a shame

This could be such a beautiful, grand old house. I wonder why someone doesn't buy it and fix it up again? It would make a very nice restored home.

homes on litchfield

these big green blighted homes are owned by the developer who is supposed to be putting up the "woodbridge village" but the economy delayed the project. Why though does the town of woodbridge allow ANYONE to disobey the blight laws? Because they are potential taxpayers?

speaking of that I wonder if the twon gets paid taxes on these bradley road parcels as building lots or farm land. Since they have not been farmed since 2005 it shouldn't be the later.
