This Week in Woodbridge
Schedules for the coming week continue to adjust after the cancellation of various meetings last month. The Human Services Commission starts off the week and the month with their regularly scheduled meeting at the Human Services Conference Room at The Center at 7 PM Monday. They will have an update on the 2010-2011 budget as well as talk about many different events including a St. Patrick’s Party at the Senior Center as well as a Health Fair there. Various youth activities will be discussed as well as a volunteer’s tea in April. Also scheduled for Monday is the Town Plan and Zoning meeting at 7:30 at the Town Hall.
Tuesday at 6 PM at Town Hall, the Board of Finance will meet to review and act on the Board of Finance fiscal year 2011 operating and capital budget recommendations. This is scheduled to be a long meeting.
Because of various conflicts and rescheduling, the Board of Selectmen had planned to meet on Wednesday, but as reported earlier, this is now not scheduled to happen. Also, the monthly Woodbridge Board of Police Commissioners meeting which normally would take place on Wednesday has been cancelled.
At the library there will be the regular schedule of stories, crafts, and music for youngsters and ending off the week will be the Woodbridge Volunteer Fire Association’s 11th annual Snowflake Dance at the Woodbridge Club.
