At the Woodbridge Board of Education meeting last night, the board unanimously approved the recommendation of the BRS Town Building Committee to approve retaining Dimeo Construction as the construction manager for the BRS building project. This now moves to the Board of Selectmen for their approval. Several different firms submitted proposals and Dimeo Construction and Fusco Builders were the two viewed most favorably. Fusco has strong ties to the New Haven area, while Dimeo was recognized for its strength in pre-referendum services.

Bids for investment management consultants to assist in management of the town’s trust for other post employment benefits. These benefits involve an investment of over half a million dollars. Bids are due Wednesday, February 24th at 3 PM.

Also, today, the town posted three new bids for catch basin cleaning, street sweeping services and road paving services.
