Vivo, the smartphone manufacturing company that holds the 5th position in the market, recently launched its Y51L smartphone. But this was not enough for the company and hence the company decided to launch a new smartphone in China. The company launched its Vivo Y25 in the Chinese market. The new Vivo Y25 provides a 4.5-inch screen with FWVGA display. The screen also has a pixel ratio of 480 x 854. The handset is fueled by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM. The phone also has 16 GB internal memory that can be expanded to 128 GB via MicroSD card.
In the field of the camera, the rear camera is of 5 MP along with LED flash. The new Vivo Y25 has 2 MP of the front camera as well. The phone also supports a 1,900mAh battery that is capable of giving 12 hours of talk time and 45 hours of standby time. The phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop. In terms of connectivity, the phone will offer Bluetooth, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, 3G, FM, and GPS.
As the new Vivo Y25 is a low range smartphone, it has a price tag of RMB 499. This means the smartphone will cost around Rs 4,800 in the Indian market. Currently, the phone is said to be available in only two color variants—gray and white.
Well, even though the phone is a low-budget device, the specs of the smartphone are not so impressive as compared to the price. The memory of the smartphone and the camera quality are low and disappointing. With a range of 5K, users have many other options that can offer better feature than the Vivo Y25.
