It’s the second day of the world largest show and there is some mind blowing disclosures taking place. Focusing on the recent update Maruti Suzuki next generation Swift has made its debut at 2017 Geneva Auto Show, after the previous reveal in Japan.
The model is the third version in India and becomes fourth internationally. The design of the new swift is totally refreshed which gives it young and smart look and makes the drive more sporty performance wise. It has been designed on the basis of HEARTECT platform which is the modified version of the B platform that was used in Baleno. This up gradation helped the new swift to reduce its weight and make it more rigid if compared to the previous version.
Looking on its powertrain, it is expected that 1.2-liter petrol and 1.3-liter diesel will be installed in cars for India, as well as the turbocharged booster jet will be assembled in sports model. The new generation swift comes with loads of modification which includes infotainment system integrated with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, sports inspired instrument cluster, dual airbags, ABS, well-crafted spoiler and boot lid, and precisely cut diamond shape alloy wheels.
The vehicle will be available in both the transmission type; Manual and automatic. Swift is one of the famous wheels in the auto market and it has been said that the all new swift will first hit the European markets and to clear the curiosity of the Indian customers who are waiting for its launch; Maruti Suzuki plans to launch the car next year by March 2018. The company also plans to introduce next generation Swift Dzire by the second half of 2017.
The expected price of the totally renovated next generation Swift will be somewhere around Rs 5-8 Lakhs.
