Xiaomi is currently in talks due to its ongoing Mi Fan Festival. The company has offered various offers and discounts on its Mi products. Well, keeping these things aside, the company has confirmed the launch of its most awaited Xiaomi Mi 6 smartphone. The company has decided to launch this smartphone by the end of April 2017 or at the beginning of May 2017. Well, this seems to be good news for the Mi fans. Let us have a look at the specs of the smartphone.
The new Xiaomi Mi 6 has 5.15-inch of IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with a pixel ratio of 1080 x 1920. It also has a pixel density of 428 ppi and a 74.1% of screen-to-body ratio. The device is fueled by a Qualcomm MSM8998 Snapdragon 835 processor and has a GPU of Adreno 506. The smartphone currently runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Speaking of the memory, the handset offers of 4 GB/6 GB of RAM and 32 GB/64 GB/128 GB of internal memory for storage. This internal storage memory cannot be further expanded via external MicroSD card.
Moving towards the imaging duties, the new Xiaomi Mi 6 has 19 MP of rear camera with phase detection autofocus, dual-LED (dual tone) flash as well as f/1.9 aperture. It also offers an 8 MP of front camera with f/1.9 aperture for capturing selfies. The device runs on a 3,200 mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, the handset offers VoLTE, 4G, Wi-Fi, 3G, GPS, and Bluetooth. The device will be available in silver, gray, gold, and rose gold color variants. Last but not the least, let us discuss about the price factor. The new Xiaomi Mi 6 is priced for CNY 2,999.
Frankly speaking, the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 6 is indeed the best that the company has come up with so far. If launched in the Indian market, the smartphone will cost approximately Rs 30K. The only problem that we have here is the price factor. We believe that the price associated with the new Mi 6 is not worth for the specs that the company is providing.
