China is witnessing the yearly event conducted by Xiaomi. The company launched the successor of its recently launched smartphone Redmi Note 4—Redmi Note 4X. Well, to add to this list and give a treat to its fans, the company has launched one more device at this event. The company launched the new Xiaomi Mi 5c. Let us have a look at the specs of the smartphone.
The new Xiaomi Mi 5c phone provides a 5.15-inch screen with full HD IPS display. The screen also has a pixel ratio of 1080 x 1920. The screen has a protection of Gorilla Glass as well. The device is fueled by the company’s own 2.2GHz octa-core SoC processor coupled with 3 GB RAM. The handset also has 64 GB internal memory that can be expanded to 128GB via Micro SD card.
In the camera section, the rear camera is of 12 MP of power with f/2.2 aperture, 0.25μm pixel size, and a wide angle lens of 27mm. The new Xiaomi Mi 5c smartphone has an 8 MP of front camera with f/2.0 aperture and a wide angle lens of 27mm for proper selfies. The smartphone is supported by 2,860mAh battery. The device currently runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. In terms of connectivity the phone offers 4G, Bluetooth, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, 3G, FM and GPS.
Launched in China, the phone is currently priced for Yuan 1,499. It comes in 2 color variants—gold, rose gold, and black. The smartphone is likely to reach the public of China from March 03, 2017.
Well, seeing the price (roughly Rs 14,566) the phone qualifies in the test of attracting the audience. The features offered by the company at such a low price is the main reason that will hike the sale of the smartphone. Well, it’s just matter of time that the Xiaomi Mi 5c will launch in India.
