The leading tech giant LG has shown its capacity in the CES 2017 by presenting new 4K TV series in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The new OLED W series TV features a 65-inch screen and is 2.57mm sleek. There is also another version of this device. The version comes with a 77-inch screen and is launched at the same time.
Owing to the ultra-thin design, the company claims that the TV has a panel as thin as wallpaper. The display of the TV almost matched with any background and can be mounted on the wall with the help of magnets.
Interestingly, both the TVs have a dual-part construction. Both TVs are made up of two parts, which when integrated together form a complete TV. Sounds interesting…. Right? One part is the sleek display whereas the other part is a compatible Dolby Atmos sound bar. The gap between these two parts is bridged by a single cable. All the connectivity ports are present in the sound bar. These connectivity ports also include options such as HDCP, HDMI, and Wi-Fi. Both the devices are compatible with various versions of HDR along with support to Hybrid Log Gamma (HLG) and Dolby Vision.
The two devices are equipped with WebOD smartTV version 3.5 of LG. The company has bonded with online video streaming firms such as Amazon Video, Netflix, and Vudu to represent the HDR and 4K content on the screen.
Surely, with no doubt, both the W series TVs will be a success due to the sleek design and advanced features.
