LG Nexus 5X Photo Leak With More Specs & Details

Google is expected to unveil its next smartphone, the Nexus 5X, in a highly anticipated release date event that is scheduled to take place just days from now on September 29. Over the past few days, there have been leaked images of the LG Nexus 5X smartphone doing the rounds on the Internet, and leaked retail boxes that affirmed the core specs and design features of the device. Today, however, a listing on Amazon India shows the device in its full glory, detailing the specs and features of the phone ahead of its unwrapping.

If you have been eagerly awaiting the launch of Google’s LG Nexus 5X, you will be impressed by the photos leaked by AndroidPolice.com. One of the images shows the front and rear sides of the smartphone, revealing a modestly sized 5.2-inch screen with very thin bezels on its sides. Two speaker grills dominate the front of the device, showing just how popular placing front-facing speakers on high-end devices is becoming.

At the back of the LG Nexus 5X, a circular camera module protrudes slightly, and to its left are a dual-LED flash and a fingerprint scanner. Prominent LG and Nexus branding covering the entire length of the back plate are hard to miss.

The LG Nexus 5X will come with a 5.2-inch 1080p IPS HD display (423ppi pixel density), a 1.8GHz hexa-core Snapdragon 808 SoC, and either 2GB or 3GB of RAM. The leaked Amazon images, just like the earlier Geekbench benchmark results, indicate that this smartphone will come with 2GB of RAM. With a weight listing of 177g, the LG Nexus 5X seems a little too heavy for a device with a 5.2-inch screen. It also comes with USB Type-C standard.

Other features of this upcoming Nexus smartphone include a 2,700mAh battery that promises up to 300 hours standby and 17 hours talk time, a 12.3-megapixel primary camera, a 5-megapixel selfie shooter, and, of course, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, and Wi-Fi connectivity features. Expect the LG Nexus 5X to hit the stores next month in two variants of 32GB and 64GB onboard storage sizes, and in glorious color options—white, black, and light green or ice blue.
