Notifications can be irritating sometimes. Not sometimes, but every time!!! Imagine you are in the middle of a busy schedule and your handset keeps on ringing often due to notifications. You can ignore them by keeping your phone on silent and check them all at once after you get free. But there is a risk of missing something important. What if you get a notification of an emergency situation and it just got ignored due to the phone being on silent?

There must be solution on this. Don’t you think so? What if you get all your notifications on your PC while you are working in the office? Well, this is possible. Let us find out how.

Step 1

Download and install the Pushbullet app. You need to sign in to the app. You can either do this by using your Gmail or Facebook account. Once you have signed in, the app asks permission to enable the access for notifications. Grant the permission by clicking Enable button.

Step 2

On the other hand, open Chrome browser on your PC. Install the Pushbullet Chrome extension in the browser. After installing the extension, sign in with the same account that you have used for logging into the Pushbullet app.

Step 3

That is it!!! Now, notifications have been enabled on your PC. You will be able to view all the notifications that you will receive on your smartphone. The notification will remain for a time period of 30 seconds (which is the default time set by the app) and will hide itself afterwards. You can change the period of time in the settings of the app.

You can also snooze the notifications on the PC. The extension allows you to snooze the notification for certain interval of time.
